About Us
Cooroora Taxation Services is a Sunshine Coast firm based in the Noosa hinterland town of Pomona. We are a small practice, employing local staff and providing Taxation and Accounting services to a wide range of local and interstate clients. We are a member of CPA Australia and use a Quality Assurance program within the firm.
Kim Vines CPA - Principal
Kim has over 30 years experience in the field of accounting and taxation services. Her career started in the Australian Taxation Office in various areas and finishing in the Business Audit area. Kim then worked for a period as an Accountant with a Sunshine Coast accounting firm before setting up Cooroora Taxation Services in 1997. She graduated from the University of Southern Queensland in 1994 and then completed the CPA Program in 1997.
Kim has a current Public Practice Certificate with CPA Australia and is also a member of the National Tax and Accountants Association. She does regular continuing professional development to keep up to date with current legislation. Over this time, Kim has gained extensive experience in accounting and taxation matters for all types of business entities and structures as well as experience in all manners of compliance issues with the ATO. She has extensive knowledge of accounting packages such as Xero, MYOB, Sage One Accounting and Quickbooks.
